The programme got support from friends, schools and institutions. Anisa and Poly continuous support has really kept us going Raila and Fiona support, has really brought light and hope to eight students in high school through out this year they have been able to settle and enjoy their lessons without many problems. The Banda and Peponi school P.T.A they have also stood with us in a time of need especially stationary and exam materials for candidates toward the final exams in October and November. You’re great you made a difference in many children’s life.

The Rotary Club in England, thanks once more for your support, lives in Kibera has being touched, you all Kudos God bless.

Saturday and Sundays are very unique days in Kibera Mpira Mtaani, these are days the children get to discover there talents in various field and strengthen them. Due to the changes that occurred in our education system various subjects like art and music are no longer in primary syllabus, this has really made the education programe to be academic oriented thus living out talents such as art, music etc. Thanks to Kibera Mpira Mtaani and friends because we are able to discover their talents and empower them, this year we’ve been able to conduct weekend classes in art, poetry and film making. We’ve had a group of young children and youth who have managed to get skills in the fields from fellow Kenyans who are experts and professionals in this industry.

Wamaathai and story moja thanks for the poetry classes, Lisenye are groups for the art classes you brought flavour into work and fun. Kibera Film School, it is amazing the young Kibera children know how to operate a camera and as soon going to report on behalf of the Kibera Community and write stories and articles. Not forgetting our volunteer teachers for every evening classes Monday – Friday a team of 14 young people who decided to use there free time to tuition the children and make a difference, for sure the difference can be seen the children enjoyed being with you all we wish you who enabled us have a successful term merry X Mass happy 2012.
